If you want to know a bit more about me….
I began my film making career in the mid 90's when I started traveling with the young future world surfing champion Andy Irons and his brother Bruce. I then founded action sports production company Billygoat Productions in 1994, delivering more than 20 surf films, award winning documentaries, tv shows and providing content distribution to all types of media outlets.
More recently, from 2014-2017 I worked and traveled with World Surfing Champion and Olympic Athlete John John Florence. I Produced the award winning film "View From a Blue Moon" I then followed the film up by both Directing and Producing the award winning 7 part series "Twelve" presented by Hurley. The series followed John John Florence 2016 competitive campaign to win his first Surfing World Title.
In 2017, after falling in love with Portland, Oregon, my family and I moved from the North Shore of Oahu. The skills I learned over the years of directing, producing, filming and managing crew and budgets translated perfectly to the Ad Agencies in Portland. Since the move, I have worked primarily in house at North as a freelance Producer, while also working with other Portland based agencies Instrument, Nemo, Studio Mega among others.
When I’m not working, I enjoy lots amazing PNW outdoor activities with my wife Cara and my daughter Daysha. As a family, we all love to surf, snowboard, hike, camp and travel and bring our wonderful chocolate lab Ipo along with us everywhere.
